After confirming the launch date for the much awaited OnePlus 6 handset recently, the Chinese smartphone maker yesterday revealed that it will also be launching the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Edition alongside the regular model. The company is all set to launch the new OnePlus 6 smartphone in the global market on May 16 while the device will brake covers on May 17 in the Indian as well as Chinese market. The new OnePlus 6 smartphone is expected to take design cues from its cousin Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror featuring a chin at the bottom. On the specification front, the next-in flagship product from OnePlus will sport a bigger 6.2-inch display panel with a notch that will house front camera, microphone as well as other sensors. The device will come powered by Qualcomm's latest chipset - Snapdragon 845 SoC, expect the device to top all the benchmarks once it is launched in the market. To be offered in 3 variants - 64GB, 128GB and up to 256GB of internal storage capacity. Another highlight of the device will be improved vertically stacked dual camera at the rear. The company is also likely to certify the smartphone with IP67 or IP68 rating for making it dust and water resistant. Expected to be launched in the country with a price tag of around Rs. 35,000, the smartphone will be sold exclusively via Amazon India likewise all the previous OnePlus models. Interested buyers can purchase the new OnePlus 6 via e-commerce giant on May 21.
