Realme is all set to launch its new smartphone in the domestic market today at 12.30 pm. To be dubbed as Realme 2, the smartphone will be the second device from the smartphone maker after Realme 1. However, it will be company's first product after breaking away from Oppo. The launch event is scheduled to commence at 12.30 pm and the smartphone will be retailed online exclusively via Flipkart. Moreover, some specific specifications and features of the phone has been leaked online, which revealed that the smartphone will be packed with dual camera, 6.3-inch display, notch on the top, 4230 mAh battery and more. Realme 2 Smartphone Launching in India Tomorrow; Likely to Be Priced Under Rs. 10,000.

The company will be broadcasting the launch event of Realme 2 via its social media platforms - Facebook and YouTube. The live streaming of Realme 2 launch can be watched directly from the video below. The launch proceedings are slated to commence at 12.30 pm onwards.

Recently, the company accidentally uploaded the live images of the smartphone online on the official website. However, the same were taken down immediately. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Realme 2 is rumoured to feature similar configurations to that of Oppo F7. It could boast a 6.23-inch Full HD+ display with a notch on the top. Under the hood, the company has confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, rolling out the rumours of MediaTek Helio P60 SoC that surfaced online previously. The smartphone is also tipped to feature a dual camera module at the rear featuring 16MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor along with a dedicated LED flash.

Lastly, the prices of the smartphone are expected to be pretty competitive considering the price point of the previous Realme 1. The phone is rumoured to be mid-ranger that is expected to get starting price below Rs. 10,000 for the base variant and the top-end variant will go up to Rs. 15,000.
