Realme India will be expanding its product portfolio for the domestic market by introducing a brand new offering, which will be called as Realme U1. Dubbed as Selfie Pro, the company will be launching the new smartphone on November 28. Moreover, the new Realme U1 smartphone will be the company's first product with MediaTek Helio P70 SoC. Ahead of its India debut, the handset has been listed on Amazon.in with a tagline - 'Selfie Pro' device. Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme confirmed that the new smartphone with Helio P70 SoC is on its way. The company will launch the new Realme U1 smartphone on November 28 at 12.30 pm. The smartphone is expected to feature waterdrop-style notch display, which is already seen on Oppo F9 & OnePlus 6T. Moreover, the introduction of MediaTek Helio P70 will bring a bunch of new improvements like high-resolution depth engine, faster multi-frame noise reduction, anti-blooming engine, and accurate AI and more. As a reminder, MediaTek unveiled the new Helio P70 last month, which is an octa-core chip that is based on TSMC's 12nm FinFET process. Talking about the optics, the Realme U1 device is expected to sport a 25MP sensor upfront as the company has claimed that the device will be the most powerful selfie camera ever. Moreover, we have already seen several devices from Oppo featuring 25MP sensor. Furthermore, the chipset is capable of supporting up to a 32MP single primary camera or dual camera module comprising 24MP primary & 16MP secondary sensors. Coming to the company, Realme has emerged as the first smartphone brand to hit 1 million shipments within five months of brand launch. Moreover, the brand managed to achieve 3 million Realme Users within six months of brand launch.
