Realme, the Chinese phone maker will be adding a new smartphone to its product portfolio for the Indian market on September 13, 2019. The much awaited Realme XT smartphone will be launched in the country by next week. This piece of information has been confirmed through Flipkart as the e-commerce giant listed a dedicated page for the smartphone. Moreover, the company has also started sending out invites to the media. The launch event of Realme XT will begin at 12PM IST. Realme XT Smartphone With 64MP Quad Camera Officially Revealed.

The company recently launch the new Realme 5 Series in India and now it will be introducing Realme XT in the country. The smartphone will be the first 64MP quad camera device to launch in India. Apart from the 64MP quad camera, the other key highlights of the upcoming Realme XT will be a Snapdragon 712 SoC, Dewdrop AMOLED display, premium glass design and up to 8GB RAM.

On the specification front, the Realme XT will feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. The phone will be offered in two colour options - white and blue gradient shades. It will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 712 SoC. It is the same chipset which is also seen on Realme 5 Pro. The Realme XT is likely to be offered in 4GB, 6GB & 8GB RAM options along with up to 128GB of internal storage. The device will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support via Type-C.

For photography, the smartphone will sport quad camera setup at the back featuring Samsung's 64MP Lens as a primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

The smartphone will be pitted against the upcoming Xiaomi Note 8 Pro, which is expected to be launched by next month. The company will be revealing the prices and availability for the smartphone on the launch day. However, we speculate that the Realme XT could be priced a premium to Realme X bringing it somewhere around Rs 20,000.
