Reliance Jio GigaFiber Registration Starts From August 15

Last month, Reliance Jio announced their upcoming Jio GigaFiber service at the 41st Annual General Meet (AGM). The Jio Fiber For-To-The-Home (FTTH) broadband services were devised to extend fiber connectivity to homes, merchants, small and large enterprises simultaneously across 1,100 cities. Interested users can register for the Jio GigaFiber broadband services from August 15 onwards. The registration can be done through My Jio app and Google’s Android 9 Pie Launched; Here Are the Features and List of Compatible Devices for the New OS.

The preview pack offer gives ultra-high-speed internet up to 100 MBPS for 90 days along with a monthly data quota of 100 GB and complimentary access to a host of Jio's premium apps. If the data gets consumed before the period, users can still use the high-speed internet by performing a complementary data top-up of 40 GB via MyJio App or through RJio GigaFiber Monthly Plans to Start From Rs 500,  Full Rate Card Leaked Online!

Earlier this month, Reliance Jio GigaFiber rate card was leaked online ahead of its launch. Here are the leaked Jio GigaFiber plans:

Along with Jio GigaFiber broadband service, the Indian mobile network giant also introduced Jio Phone 2 during the 41st AGM. The new device is designed like a feature phone and is priced at Rs 2,999. The phone will have advanced features and also Jio schemes. The booking for the new phone will also begin on August 15. Powering the JioPhone 2 is KaiOS, the same operating system that powers the original JioPhone. The phone also features 2.4QVGA display, 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM. The smartphone supports SD card for expandable storage up to 128GB.
