Samsung, a leading Korean smartphone maker has officially announced the world’s first smartphone with infinity-O display, which is referred as Galaxy A8s. Moreover, the Korean smartphone maker is calling camera hole in the display as Infinity-O display. And, the phone maker has rolled out the device against Huawei’s Honor View 20. Though in-display camera is main underline of the smartphone, other highlights are Snapdragon 710 chipset and up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone packs a 6.4-inch display screen with a camera hole (6.7mm wide) located at the upper left corner incorporating a selfie shooter. The display screen carries a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Though the bezels are pretty slim, the Korean phone maker hasn’t revealed any details regarding the Super AMOLED. However, we assume that the device is packed with LCD IPS screen.

At the back, the phone sports a triple camera module featuring a 24MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.7. The secondary sensor is a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. However, the third sensor is a depth sensing lens sporting a 5MP sensor and f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is a 24MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is backed by a 3,400 mAh battery with fast charging support and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung's UI on top. The device will be offered in Blue, Gray and Green paint schemes along with gradient colour options. The smartphone will be available for pre-orders after December 21 in the Chinese market. We assume that the smartphone is expected to be shipped only after the mentioned date only. Moreover, the company hasn’t revealed the prices for the smartphone. But, we speculate that phone could be priced somewhere in upper-mid-range space.
