Samsung, an Electronics major on Thursday officially announced the launch of the much awaited Galaxy Fold in the Korean market. The foldable smartphone will be launched in Korea tomorrow .i.e. September 6, 2019. The South Korean company will also introduce its first foldable device in other markets including France, Germany, Singapore, US, UK and more. Moreover, the company confirmed that the Galaxy Fold will also be available with 5G-ready option in selected countries wherein the customers will be able to unfold the future on the fastest network.

Designed to inspire new experiences, the new Galaxy Fold comes with an 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Display when unfolded enabling the users to explore new ways for multitasking, playing games, watching video and lot more.

We already know that the Samsung Galaxy Foldable device comes with dual displays. When folded, the device flaunts a 4.6-inch HD+ AMOLED screen with 21:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, the second screen is a 7.3-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED panel carrying an aspect ratio of 4.2:3. Under the hood, the premium offering from Samsung is powered by an octa-core chipset from Qualcomm - Snapdragon 855. The chipset on the foldable smartphone comes mated with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage option.

In terms of photography, the smartphone gets six cameras in total. When folded, there is a 10MP selfie snapper on the outside. The rear side gets a triple camera module comprising of 12MP wide angle lens with dual aperture and a 12MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra-wide sensor.

When unfolded, the smartphone gets a 10MP main camera lens with an 8MP depth sensor. To ensure that the device gives immense user experience, the company has incorporated two batteries, with a combined capacity of 4,380mAh. The smartphone also gets fast wired charging along with wireless charging support.
