Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo Launched in India at Rs. 16,990; Gets Dual Rear Camera, Fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock & Selfie Flash

With the increasing demand for the mid-range smartphones, Samsung - a popular South Korean company has officially launched the new Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 16,990, the smartphone will be available for purchase from April 12 onwards. Moreover, the smartphone will be offered in two colour options - Black and Gold. The smartphone was listed on Samsung’s official website ahead of its India launch. The main underlines of the newly launched Galaxy J7 Duo are dual rear camera module, App pair feature, Bixby home and Android Oreo. Talking about the specs, the new Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo gets 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. Powered by an Exynos 7 Series octa-core processor, the smartphone comes fitted with 4GB of RAM and 32 internal storage capacity (expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card). For photography, the Korean smartphone maker has incorporated a dual camera setup at the rear with 13MP sensor and 5MP sensor with LED flash and auto focus. The smartphone is also fitted with an 8-MP front camera LED flash for enhanced selfies with f/1.9 aperture. The primary camera can record full-HD video with resolution of 1080X1920 pixels at 30fps. Touted for its face unlock, selfie focus and beauty mode features, the new Galaxy J7 Duo will run on Android Oreo out-of-the-box. The smartphone gets dual SIM slots and dedicated slot for storage expansion. In terms of proportion, the smartphone measures 153.5x77.2x8.2mm and weighs about 174 grams. Under the hood, the new Galaxy J7 Duo gets 3000mAh battery. The device comes equipped with sensors such as accelerometer, fingerprint sensor and proximity sensor. For connectivity, the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS and Glonass.
