Display and Build Quality
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra features an 8.0-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The cover screen sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, also supporting a 120Hz refresh rate.
To enhance structural rigidity without adding weight, Samsung introduced its Flex Titanium hinge design, pairing a titanium-alloy film with a titanium support plate. The device weighs 215 grams and measures 4.1mm in thickness when unfolded.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the device is powered by the custom Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM.
It runs on Android 17-based One UI 9 out of the box.
