Mumbai, April 30: April has been a good month for smartphone launches, as many companies introduced unique smartphones at impressive prices. This month, some companies only teased their new smartphones and gadgets and scheduled the launch in May 2024. Considering the smartphones launched this month, we have Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G World Champions Edition that was launched today, April 30. Then we have the Realme P series, Realme NARZO 70 series, Realme 12X 5G, Nothing Phone 2a Blue version, OnePlus Nord CE4 and many others. 

In April 2024, we saw many great mid-range smartphones launched with segment-leading specifications and features. We also witnessed new smartphones launches such as the HMD Pulse series, including HMD Pulse, HMD Pulse+ and HMD Pulse Pro. In May 2024, many new smartphones will come to India with new designs, features, specifications, and camera improvements. However, some devices have been confirmed to launch in India, while others have been rumoured. The upcoming smartphones to launch in May 2024 include Vivo V30e, Samsung M35 5G, OnePlus Nord 4, Samsung Galaxy F55 5G, Google Pixel 8a, likely OPPO A60, HMD Pulse series, and more. Check the list of smartphones coming in May 2024 and beyond.

  • Vivo V30e: Vivo V30e is the new smartphone set to launch in India, looking at the success of the Vivo V30 series. The company confirmed that the Vivo V30e launch date in India would be May 2, 2024. The V30e will offer luxury-inspired Velvet Red and Silk Blue colours, a 5,500mAh battery, an ultra-slim 3D curved display, an Aura Light flashlight, built-in camera filters, and a Sony IMX882-powered primary camera. Additionally, it will have a 50 Eye AF selfie camera. Vivo V30e price in India is expected to be 

  • Samsung Galaxy M35 5G, Samsung Galaxy F55 5G: Samsung will expand its M and F series by introducing two models in May 2024. Samsung already confirmed that it will launch its new Galaxy F55 5G with a vegan leather finish. It is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage variants. The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G price in India is expected to start from Rs 23,999. There are no further updates about the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G.

  • OnePlus Nord 4: According to multiple reports, the OnePlus Nord 4 was spotted on Geekbench, confirming its launch in India. According to the reports, the Nord 4 will be launched with a 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired fast-charging support, a 120Hz 6.74-inch OLED display, a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, a Sony IMX882 primary sensor, and a Sony IMX335 8MP dual-camera sensor.  The company has yet to announce the OnePlus Nord 4 launch date in India. 

  • Motorola Edge 50 Ultra: Motorola is said to launch this device in April 2024. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra specifications are expected to be Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 144Hz display, 50MP primary, 50MP wide-angle and 64MP telephoto lens on the rear. This flagship smartphone is said to launch at more than Rs 80,000. 

Besides these confirmed and expected smartphones, a few are expected to launch, but there is no official confirmation from the company.   • Google Pixel 8a will be announced soon with new updates, likely on May 16.

  • Sony Xperia 1 Vi and Sony Xperia 10 VI might be launched in China in April 2024. This Sony smartphone will not be launched in India.

  • OPPO A60 was launched with Snapdragon 680, which might or might not arrive in India.

  • The OPPO Reno 12 series is set to launch in China. OPPO Reno 12 is expected to feature MediaTek Dimensity 8200, and OPPO Reno 12 Pro might launch with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor. It may be launched in India later. 

  • POCO F6 5G is rumoured to launch with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which might also be launched in India soon.

  • The HMD Pulse series might be launched in India under the same or different names. 

  • Vivo X100 Ultra is expected to launch in China with flagship specifications and a higher price. The launch in India is not confirmed yet. 

  • The iQOO Z9 Turbo, iQOO Z9, and iQOO Z9x were launched in China this month; however, they might not make it to India.

  • The Huawei Pura series was launched in China and might have been introduced in India or skipped.

  • HTech CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed that either the HONOR Magic6 Ultimate or the HONOR Magic6 RSR Porsche Design edition smartphone will be launched in India.

Smartphone companies like Lava Mobiles, Infinix, Itel, Redmi, Xiaomi, Realme, Apple, and Google are expected to announce their smartphones and gadget-related updates in the coming months. Thus, more devices could launch in May 2024.
