Vivo, the Chinese smartphone maker has finally launched the new Vivo S1 smartphone under the all-new S Series. Priced from Rs 17,990 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, the new Vivo S1 smartphone will be offered in 3 variants with different configurations. This new selfie-centric smartphone under S series comes after Z series, which was introduced in the country last month. The smartphone will be made available for sale on August 8, which will be available on Amazon India and company's own store. Offered in three storage configurations, the base version comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that is priced at Rs 17,990. The mid-variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 18,990. On the other hand, the top-end model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage will cost Rs 19,990. Moreover, the customers will also get 7.5 percent cashback with EMI transactions done via HDFC Bank credit and credit cards. Moreover, the buyers also stand a chance to get Rs 2,500 Paytm cashback and Rs 10,000 cashback from Reliance Jio.
On the specification front, the smartphone sports a 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 2340X1080 pixels of resolution and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, the smartphone gets a MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, which is also called as MT6768 SoC. Moreover, Vivo S1 is the first device to be powered by this chipset.
In terms of optics, the newly launched Vivo S1 phone gets a triple camera setup at the back. The module comprises of 16MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there is a 32MP snapper for video calling and selfies. The rear camera module also supports AR Stickers, AI Face Beauty and Slow-Mo video recording. Running Android 9 Pie based on FunTouch OS, the smartphone also comes with in-display fingerprint sensor. The connectivity options on the smartphone are carried out by WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE.
