Mumbai, December 18: Vivo V70 has been spotted on FCC certification website, marking its imminent launch. The upcoming smartphone will reportedly come with a larger battery and get a Snapdragon chipset. Vivo V70 FCC Certification and leaks suggested various new features and specifications of the device. In October, Vivo V60 was launched with a 6,500mAh battery and the upcoming device could offer larger battery than that.
According to the FCC listing, the Vivo V70 was expected to support 5G connectivity, Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi 6. The smartphone was likely to ship with Android 16 out of the box, possibly running OriginOS 6 on top. The certification also hinted at a 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant, suggesting a focus on performance and multitasking. Ahead of its official launch, the Vivo V70 has reportedly appeared on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database, indicating that the company is gearing up to unveil its next V-series smartphone soon. The listing includes a test report for an unreleased Vivo handset bearing the model number V2538 and FCC ID 2AUCYV2538, which has been linked to the Vivo V70.
Vivo V70 Performance and Hardware Expectations
As per the leaked information indicated that the Vivo V70 may be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. A Gadget360 report said that the device was also been spotted earlier on benchmarking platforms, further strengthening speculation about its processor and overall capabilities. The upcoming model is expected to bring noticeable improvements over the Vivo V60, especially in terms of battery capacity and efficiency.
Vivo V70 India Launch Timeline and Comparison
While Vivo has not officially announced the launch date, the upcoming Vivo V70 has reportedly appeared on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, pointing towards an imminent India launch.
