In a bid to make WhatsApp Messenger user friendly and feature-load, WhatsApp have made several feature updates to the platform. With new rumours coming from the market, it is speculated that WhatsApp has issued a new beta update for the iOS users that supports several changes. These changes include removal of profile picture saving via 3D Touch, notifications for downloading issues in pinned chats, inclusion of Quick Media Edit feature. According to the reports from WABetaInfo, it is believed that the company is working on a multi-platform system wherein business users will be able to run same account on multiple devices at a same time. WhatsApp has released the 2.19.80.16 version in the TestFlight Beta Program wherein the company has reportedly removed the 3D touch shortcuts for saving profile picture. Moreover, WABetaInfo also tips that the company is testing pinned alerts for download issues, which will be seen on top of the chats.

It is also believed that WhatsApp is developing Quick Media Edit feature for Android as well as iOS. This new feature has been enabled for testing in the latest iOS beta version, which will provide as a shortcut for editing media files sent or received in an individual chat or group conversation.

Additionally, the source also hints that WhatsApp is developing a new multi-platform system which will allow the users to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices. With this new feature, the users will be able to use their WhatsApp account on iPad without removing it from the iPhone. The same goes with iOS and Android devices too. As the feature is currently under development, it is no exact timeline when the company will be rolling it out to the end user.
