After launching Redmi Note 7 in China, Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new Mi phablet - Mi Max 4. Expected to be launched soon, the specifications and prices of two variants of new phablet has been leaked on Weibo. Going by the leaked information, the forthcoming phablet from Xiaomi will be seen in 2 versions - Mi Max 4 and Mi Max 4 Pro. As per the leaked information, the new Mi Max 4 will be packed with a 7.2-inch notched display screen featuring narrow bottom bezel. The phablet will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Max 4 device will be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. In the camera department, the device will also sport Samsung's GM1 48MP sensor, which is also seen on Redmi Note 7.

The leaked information also revealed that the device is likely to be offered in 3 variants, which will vary as per the storage memory. On the pricing front, the 4GB + 64GB variant could be priced at RMB 1599 (around Rs 17,000), 6GB + 64GB model could retail at RMB 1799 (around Rs 19.500). On the other hand, the top-of-the-line variant - 6GB RAM + 128GB is likely to be priced at RMB 1999 (around Rs 21,500).
On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi Max 4 Pro will be packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset that will carry in-display fingerprint reader. For photography, the device could carry Sony's IMX586 sensor with 48MP snapper. The device could be offered with a 20MP sensor for selfies and video calling. As a reminder, the Chinese smartphone making company officially announced the Mi Max 3 device in July last year. Moreover, the leaked information doesn't specify anything regarding the launch date of the phablet. It is believed that the company could launch the device around the same time frame. On the contrary, the company has not yet introduced the Mi Max 3 for the Indian market.
