After Xaiomi’s iconic Mi Mix 2 smartphone, the smartphone manufacturer is all geared up to launch its successor Mi Mix 3. Yesterday, Xiaomi President Lin Bing posted on Weibo – a Chinese microblogging website – that they will be launching their new smartphone (Mi Max 3) in October 2018. The company’s Co-founder further revealed an image of the upcoming device. From the first look itself, phone sports a notch-less display and surprisingly comes with camera slider. In the earlier model Mi Mix 2 smartphone, the device had also showcased a bezel-less display with a bottom chin accompanying a selfie camera. Now its successor has taken a step forward and sports a bezel-less display and comes with a camera pop-up mechanism. But reports have been making their rounds, suggesting that the Mi Mix 3 phones could sport a 6.3-inch Samsung QHD+ AMOLED display. Whereas, the device might be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Coming to the camera section, the phone could feature a 12MP dual sensor at the rear and a 20MP sensor selfie shooter at the front. Other leak reports also share the prices of the device. The phone is expected to come in three size variants of two editions. The expected costs of these devices are as follows:

As for other rumoured feature, the upcoming smartphone is expected to support wireless charging and in-display fingerprint reader functionalities. Also, the device could introduce Google's AR Core applications.
