Xiaomi officially launched the Redmi 30 smartphones in both 4G and 5G versions. Though the 4G derivative is already on sale in the home market, the Redmi K30 5G model is yet to go on sale. It was at the launch event where the company confirmed that Redmi K30 5G would go on sale in January. However, the company didn't provide any specific date for the arrival. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Redmi K30 5G-enabled variant gets a Snapdragon 765G chip that supports an integrated model for 5G connectivity. It is important to note that the Redmi K30 5G will be sub-brand's first phone to get 5G connectivity. As far as the variants are concerned, the Redmi K30 is listed on Xiaomi's official China website. The entry-level variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage costs CNY 1,999 (around Rs $285). The top-end 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant retails at CNY 2,899 (approximately $410).
