‘Drunk’ Woman Removes Pants and Masturbates on American Airlines Flight to Miami

A 46-year-old passenger, Katy Inzer, is facing an FBI inquiry after allegedly removing her pants and masturbating shortly after takeoff on an American Airlines flight from Baltimore to Miami. Responding officers in Florida reported Inzer smelled of alcohol and claimed she fell asleep, while federal authorities review the in-flight sexual misconduct complaint.

A drunken woman allegedly rubbed passengers the wrong way when she took off her pants and began masturbating on a flight from Baltimore to Miami last month. Katy Inzer, 46, committed the lewd act shortly after takeoff on an American Airlines evening flight on September 11, according to an incident report filed by the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

A fellow passenger had complained to a flight attendant that Inzer had “remove(d) her pants and began to actively masturbate while making inappropriate sounds,” the report said. When approached by the attendant, Inzer stopped beating around the bush, put her pants back on and “fell asleep for the remainder of the flight,” according to the report. ‘He Kept Touching Me’: US Journalist Breanna Morello Alleges Man Took Shirt Off, Invaded Her Seat on American Airlines Flight.

When officers approached Inzer in Florida, they noted she had “a strong odor of alcohol [sic] beverage and bloodshot eyes,” and did not remember the alleged sexual misconduct because she “fell asleep,” the report said. Neither Inzer nor sheriff’s officials immediately responded to a request for comment from The Post.

The incident was first reported by The Smoking Gun, which noted that the case was forwarded to the FBI because the jurisdiction of the alleged offense was unclear. The Post had reached out to the feds for an update.

A week before Inzer’s alleged mile-high rub, a United Airlines passenger claimed she was forced to sit next to a masturbating man on an early morning flight from Rochester to Newark, only to be offered a $100 credit, according to NBC News. The US Department of Transportation urges anyone who observes sexual misconduct on a plane to “report the incident promptly” to the flight crew or law enforcement at the destination.

Last year, the FBI said it had investigated 104 incidents of sexual assault and misconduct aboard commercial aircraft in 2024. Federal agencies exercise special maritime and territorial jurisdiction over crimes committed aboard airborne civilian flights across state boundaries.
