According to the Seattle Police Department, the incident took place at around 8:50 pm on Friday. Security footage reportedly showed the two men visiting the top observation deck before entering a restroom. When they emerged, they were wearing helmets and ran toward the edge of the deck.

Police said the pair climbed over the tall glass safety barrier and jumped from the observation deck, deploying parachutes during their descent. Security personnel were unable to determine where they landed, and responding officers could not locate them.
