Recently, a massive sandstone cliff collapsed into the water in US’ Lake Powell. Boaters captured the incident on camera. As per CNN, the rockslide happened on the Utah side of the lake where water levels have continued to plunge due to the drought conditions covering much of the West, reported NDTV. The act caught on camera, shows a huge rock on the side of the reservoir tilting toward the water below. The massive rock collapses leading to a huge spray in the sky and large waves across the lake. As per Independent, Joseph Cook, from the Arizona Geological Survey, explained that the collapse could have been caused in part by the lake's recent low water levels, reported NDTV.
