Baisakhi is celebrated with a lot of fervour by people in north India. Also known as Vaisakhi, the festival marks the first day of the month of Vaisakh. The harvest festival is celebrated as the Hindu Solar New Year and the Sikh New Year, which falls on either April 13 or 14. Baisakhi 2023 will be celebrated on April 14 (Friday).
