Chaitra Navratri is observed in the Hindu month of Chaitra. Navratri is the nine-day festival celebrated to commemorate the nine different avatars of Goddess Shakti. Sharad Navratri is believed to be the most significant followed by Chaitra Navratri. This Hindu festival marks the beginning of the Summer/Spring season.
