On December 8, results for the Gujarat Assembly Elections will be declared. As counting of votes began, early trends showed BJP leading in over 130 seats. Congress, which performed well in the last elections, is leading in over 30 seats. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which aims to make a grand entry in the state, is leading in 10 seats. The Gujarat Assembly comprises 182 seats and the majority mark is 92.
