Mumbai’s Air Quality: City’s AQI At 127, Slips To Moderate Category As Temperature Rises In The Financial City Of India

The Air Quality In Mumbai Was Recorded As Moderate With An Air Quality Index (AQI) Of 127, As Per The Air Quality & Weather Forecasting & Research System. Earlier This Month, The AQI In Mumbai Was Falling Under The Good Category But, Due To A Rise In Temperature, Ranging From 32 To 34 Degrees Celsius For A Week, The Air Quality Has Slipped Into The Moderate Category. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Has Taken Up An Initiative To Improve Mumbai’s AQI. BMC Has Started Identifying Areas In Mumbai With Poor To Very Poor Air Quality To Curb Activities That Contribute To Air Pollution.
