Singer KK Dies Aged 53: Vishal Dadlani, Rahul Vaidya, Shreya Ghoshal, Ajay Devgn & Others Tweet Condolences

Singer KK died hours after a concert in Kolkata on May 31. The 53-year-old singer reportedly collapsed at the hotel where he was staying after the concert. Reportedly, doctors at CMRI hospital said KK was brought dead. The popular singer’s real name was Krishnakumar Kunnath. Many from the entertainment world took to social media to express shock and grief. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted saying, “Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK.” Music director and singer Vishal Dadlani tweeted, “The tears won't stop.” Singer Shreya Ghoshal tweeted, “I am unable to wrap my head around this news. Numb.” Singer Rahul Vaidya tweeted, “Singer KK never smoked or drank! Led the most simple non-controversial non media hyped life.” KK has given hits like ‘Pal’, ‘Yaaron’, ‘Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai’, ‘Khuda Jaane’, ‘Tadap Tadap Ke’ among many others.
