Writing With Fire, Indian Documentary, Gets Shortlisted For Oscars 2022

Writing with Fire, Delhi-based Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh-directed documentary, has been shortlisted for the 94th Academy Awards. Writing with Fire has been shortlisted among 15 films, selected from a pool of 138 films. It has been shortlisted in the Documentary Feature category of the 94th Academy Awards. 94th Oscars ceremony, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences announced the shortlists in 10 categories. India’s official entry, Koozhangal (Pebbles) could not make it. Writing with Fire is about a newspaper run by Dalit women. Rintu Thomas took to Twitter to express her happiness.
