Residents of UAE woke up to heavy rainfall lashing parts of the country. Loud thundering and hail storms were also experienced in some regions all of these due to cloud seeding. And more rains are expected as the National Center of Meteorology plans to launch more flights. Pictures and videos of waterlogged streets of Dubai have been shared online by netizens. It is a flash flood situation in some parts. The country is seeing unstable weather conditions since the start of the weekend.

An orange and red alert was issued on Sunday following the hazardous conditions. The life has been disrupted with record-breaking rainfall hitting the country in just two days. As reported in Gulf News, the highest amount of rainfall was reported in Al Shakla, Al Ain, with 184.8 mm. The eastern region of the UAE is experiencing the heaviest amount of rainfall. The last time UAE saw such a heavy spell of rains was almost 24 years ago. As the pictures and videos show, there's flash floods like situation due to the rains since last night. Several flights have also been delayed or cancelled as the airport too is waterlogged. The weather is likely to continue throughout the day. In fact, the National Centre of Meteorology has issued a severe weather for residents to be "extremely vigilant due to hazardous weather events of exceptional severity forecast". Clean up actions have also begun in parts to cope up with the damage.
