Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Mar 24 (ANI): The persons who arrived from Dubai, Tajakisthan and Qatar over the last week have complained of poor arrangements at VIMS hospital quarantine centre in Visakhapatnam where they have been quarantined.Parents of quarantined students questioned Andhra Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, who visited VIMS quarantine centre.They alleged that they were screened at the Visakhapatnam airport but were sent to quarantine centres which do not have proper facilities. "We have been kept with a total of 31 persons at VIMS hospital."Complaining of "improper hygiene washrooms", another student said they were kept in big halls with no basic facilities "where mosquitoes bite". "As per WHO guidelines, isolation and hygiene are basic preventive measures to be taken to avoid the spread of COVID-19 but no such measures were being taken by the administration," a parent said.
