New Delhi, Jun 20 (PTI) Senior diplomat Armstrong Changsan has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Iceland, the Ministry of External Affairs said today.

Changsan, a 1997 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, is presently the Consul General at the Indian consulate at Osaka-Kobe in Japan.

He is expected to take up the assignment shortly, the statement added.
