Kolkata, Oct 26 (PTI) Crowd trouble came to fore in a match between Maidan arch-rivals Mohun Bagan and East Bengal Friday, as the fans of the two clubs spilled over to the road throwing traffic out of the gear before police took control of the situation.
After East Bengal beat Mohun Bagan 2-0, riding on goals from Subhonil Ghosh and Silvana Kima in a U-18 Youth League at the latter's home ground, tempers flared up, leading to a crowd trouble.
It went out of control when some East Bengal fans stamped on a Mohun Bagan flag and hurled expletives.
The trouble spilled over to the roads near the ground in the heart of the city throwing traffic out of gear for some time before police came in.
