Nagpur, Nov 8 (PTI) Nagpur district in Maharashtra on Sunday registered 272 new coronavirus cases, taking the number of such patients to 1,04,940, the authorities said.

Six patients died due to the virus during the day, which took the fatality count to 3,470, the district information office said in a release.

So far, 98,137 patients have recovered from the infection, of whom 331 were discharged on Sunday, it said.

The number of active patients in the district is 3,333 right now, the release said.
