New Delhi [India], August 24 (ANI): A portion of a building collapsed at Pahari Bhojla in the Old Delhi area on Monday, damaging around three to four two-wheelers, while no person was injured in the incident, according to the Delhi Police.
A PCR call was received at around 11:22 am at Police Station Chandni Mahal regarding the collapse of a portion of a building located at 1569, Pahari Bhojla, police said.

Following the information, a police team immediately reached the spot and took steps to secure the area. People present at or near the building were shifted to a safe location as a precautionary measure, police said.
The police team also took measures to remove vehicles that were lying under or near the debris. The vehicles were removed with due precaution.
Police said no person sustained any injury in the incident. However, approximately three to four scooties and motorcycles were damaged following the building's collapse.
The building was found to be in a dilapidated condition, according to the police. The authorities also learnt that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) had already issued a notice regarding the condition of the building.
Police said repair work was already underway at the building when the incident took place. The condition of the structure had therefore already been brought to the notice of the concerned authorities.
Police said further necessary action is being taken in coordination with the concerned MCD authorities. The authorities are proceeding with the matter as per the applicable law and procedure.
Earlier, on August 21, several people were injured after the wall of an old building collapsed in the Karol Bagh area. At least two people were rescued and admitted to hospital following the Karol Bagh building collapse, according to the Fire Department. (ANI)
