Pratapgarh (UP), Jan 18 (PTI) Three people on a motorcycle died after being hit by a truck from behind near Kakhara village in the Antu area here, police said on Wednesday.
The accident took place on Tuesday evening when victims Shubham Singh (26), Rohit (28) and Ashutosh (28) were going somewhere on the two-wheeler, Additional Superintendent of Police, City, Subodh Gautam said.
He said all three were rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.
The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination and police are probing the matter, the officer added.
