New Delhi, Apr 10 (PTI) In restricted activity, makhana prices rose by Rs 20 per kg at the wholesale kirana market today due to pick up in demand against pause in supplies from growing regions.
However, other spices ruled flat in thin trade.
Marketmen said apart from a uptick in demand, tight stocks position on fall in arrivals from producing regions mainly attributed the rise in makhana prices.
In the national capital, makhana traded higher by Rs 20 to Rs 600-750 per kg.
