Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Mar 30 (ANI): Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh on Friday met Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhavan and briefed him about the prevailing security situation in the state.As per an official statement, the two discussed certain important issues relating to effective internal security management.On March 19, Lt Gen Singh visited forward posts in Siachen Glacier and reviewed operational preparedness being maintained in the sector.Lt Gen Ranbir Singh interacted with the troops deployed at the forward posts and complimented them for their high morale.He also paid homage to the soldiers who lost their lives in Operation Meghdoot at the Siachen War Memorial.
