BASF India is divesting its stilbene-based optical brightening agents business to Archroma India for an undisclosed amount.
The global chemical company has entered into an agreement to divest this business for paper and powder detergent applications to Archroma India, which is leading global colour and specialty chemicals firm, BASF said Tuesday.
The transaction includes stilbene-based OBA product portfolio and the manufacturing unit at Ankleshwar, India and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2019. PTI
