Jaipur, Aug 18 (PTI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje announced a relief package of Rs 10 crore today for the flood affected areas in Kerala.
Raje announced the package from Chief Minister's Relief Fund, expressing grief over the deaths due to heavy rain and floods in the southern state.
Rajasthan is with the flood-affected people of Kerala and prepared to provide all necessary help in the tough times, the chief minister said in a statement.
A 27-member team of the Rajasthan State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) also left for Kerala today with 12 boats from a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force to provide relief and assistance to those affected by the floods.
As many as 194 people have lost their lives and 36 are missing in Kerala since August 8 due to rains and landslides, while over 3.14 lakh people have been moved to relief camps.
