Ulaanbaatar [Mongolia], April 2 (ANI): India's Aditya delivered a commanding performance to register a dominant win on Day 4 of the Asian Boxing Championships 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Competing in the men's 65kg category, Aditya, the National Champion who recently clinched gold at the 9th Elite Men's National Boxing Championship in January 2026, secured a 5-0 unanimous decision victory over Mousa Alhawsaw (KSA), showcasing control and precision throughout the bout, according to a press release.

With this win, Aditya advances to the next round, where he will face Uzbekistan's Abdulloh Madaminov in what promises to be a competitive contest.

Earlier in the tournament, India's Vishvanath Suresh and Sachin registered impressive wins on Day 3 of the Asian Boxing Championships 2026 here in Ulaanbaatar on Wednesday.

In the men's 50kg category, Vishvanath Suresh produced a dominant display to claim a 5-0 unanimous decision win over Bekzat Ergeshov (Kyrgyzstan), showcasing sharp technique and ring control throughout the contest.

He will next face Kazakhstan's Sanzhar Tashkenbay, a formidable opponent who comes in as the reigning World Champion (2025) and a World Cup winner (2025), setting up a highly anticipated clash.

In the men's 60kg category, Sachin registered a confident 4-1 split decision victory over Mongolia's Buyandalai Bayarkhuu, maintaining composure in a competitive bout to advance further in the tournament.
