Sikar, May 22 (PTI) A woman constable allegedly attempted suicide here by consuming poison, police said today.

Sumitra, posted at Udyog Nagar Police Station, allegedly consumed poison at her house and then left for office. But she fainted midway.

She was hospitalised at SMS Hospital in Jaipur, they said, adding the reason behind the extreme step was not know yet.
