Shimla, May 4 (PTI) A woman was mauled to death and her husband was seriously injured by a bear in Rampur area of Shimla district this morning, the police said.

The incident occurred when the couple were returning home after collecting wood from a forest, they said.

The woman, Jai Kumari (21), and her husband, Harkoo (24), are of Nepali origin. The woman died on the spot, the police said.
