Jaguar Land Rover India has officially launched the new 2020 Jaguar XE facelift in the country at a starting price of Rs 44.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered in both petrol and diesel versions, the new Jaguar XE will be seen in two derivatives - S & SE. The interested customers can book the facelifted avatar of Jaguar XE sedan. The updated XE sedan sports cosmetic updates adding sporty appeal to the vehicle ensuring more road presence. On the aesthetic front, the 2020 Jaguar XE facelift now gets a more prominent and revamped mesh grille. The front design of the sedan is underlined by the new J-blade LED DRLs that now comes as standard across the models. The bumper gets larger air intakes giving a refreshed look. Moreover, the alloy wheel design on the new Jaguar XE has been reworked. Additionally, the LED taillights now get a sharper treatment.

Moving to the cabin, the XE facelift carries more upgrades on the inside wherein the car features a new dual touchscreen system positioned in the centre console. Moreover, the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system gives a futuristic look. Feature-wise, the 2020 XE comes with 10.2-inch screen, automatic climate control, pistol grip gear selector, multi-function steering wheel, leather upholstery, wireless charging, smartphone connectivity, hill assist, lane-keep assist and much more.
Mechanically, the carmaker has upgraded both petrol and diesel engines on the 2020 Jaguar XE facelift to meet the forthcoming BS6 norms. The 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol mill is tuned to make 247 bhp of maximum power @ 5,500 rpm against the peak torque of 365 Nm @ 1500 - 4,000 rpm. On the other hand, the 2.0-litre oil burner churns out 178 bhp @ 4,000 rpm with 430Nm of peak torque @ 1,750 - 2,500 rpm. Both the units are mated with 8-speed automatic transmission.
