The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in millions of Americans being laid off across the country – and many are now looking to supplement their incomes by making money online.
Completing online surveys is one of the most popular ways to quickly earn some extra cash from the comfort of your bedroom. And, as Barbara Kenston from Tampa, Florida explained, it’s possible to make a full time income.
“I was made redundant a couple of months ago. Initially, I was just applying for other jobs, but one day, while on Facebook, I stumbled upon this website which listed the best, highest paying online survey platforms,” she said.
Barbara then signed up with all of the online paid survey platforms listed on that webpage and began earning money almost immediately.
She currently spends around 5 to 15 hours completing online surveys per week and makes anywhere from $1,300 to $1,700 every month just from this.
And although she has now found another job, she is continuing with this side gig, as it’s “easy money” and the extra income makes a big difference to her overall standard of living.
“This extra $1,300 to $1,700 each and every month means I can treat myself and my family to things we couldn’t have before. Plus, it’s actually quite fun completing surveys, so I don’t plan on stopping at all.”
She was kind enough to even give a few tips to other people who would like to make money completing online surveys:
“The most important thing is to get started as soon as possible and to sign up with all of the survey platforms listed on the webpage I mentioned. That way, you can maximize your earnings and hopefully make a full time income.”
Barbara also said it’s very important to check the junk folder of your email after you sign up so you can verify your email address and begin earning straight away.
“Signing up to these survey platforms directly through certain websites (not search engines) can often result in you getting a sign-up bonus as soon as you start, so I definitely recommend making use of that,” she added.
Other Ways To Make Money From Home
There are several other ways people can theoretically make money from home, but in reality, it’s very difficult to make a dime from these other options.
For example, launching an online store or selling products on Amazon is another idea to make money from home, but only a few percent of people who give it a go end up making money.
So, if you’d prefer an easier and risk-free way to make money from your bedroom, it’s probably best to just stick to surveys.
