With the new emission norms kicking next year, several manufacturers have started introducing their BS6 compliant vehicles in the country. Hero MotoCorp has begun converting its portfolio to BS6 compliant motorcycles in the country. The leading two-wheeler brand - Hero MotoCorp has officially announced the launch of its second BS6 compliant bike - Hero HF Deluxe. The bike is priced at Rs 55,925 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the self-start alloy wheel variant. Moreover, the Hero HF idle start-stop or i3S option costs Rs 57,250. The company has started dispatching the BS6 version of the Hero HF Deluxe motorcycle across all Hero dealerships in the country.

Mechanically, the newly launched BS6 version of Hero HF Deluxe comes with a fuel-injected engine comprising Xsens technology. The unit is capable of making 7.94 bhp @ 8,000 rpm against 8.05 Nm of peak torque @ 6,000 rpm. The company claims that the new Hero HF Deluxe is capable of offering 9 percent for better fuel efficiency and better acceleration. The motorcycle will be designed and developed at the company's Centre for Innovation and Technology at Jaipur. The company has also introduced new graphics and colours on the new BS6 Hero HF Deluxe. The interested customers can purchase the new HF Deluxe motorcycle in the combination of black with red, black with purple, and black with grey apart from two new colour schemes of heavy grey with green and techno blue.
