Mumbai, April 30: The Italian marquee Ducati has officially launched the all-new DesertX Rally adventure motorcycle in India. The brand has opened order books for the motorcycle across all dealerships, and the new DesertX Rally will be on display starting May 4, 2024.Ā Ducatiā€™sĀ DesertX Rally off-road bikeĀ is pricedĀ at Rs. 23.78 lakh (ex-showroom India). Deliveries for the bike will commence by the last week of May.Ā Ā Staying true to its Ducati lineage, the DesertX Rally sports a new liveryĀ makingĀ it easily distinguishable from the DesertX.Ā BMW R 1300 GS To Launch Soon in India.

It also comesĀ loadedĀ with more features to enhance off-roading adventureĀ includingĀ a high front mudguard, Kayaba suspension and shock absorber equipped with a larger piston, spoked rims and much more.Ā The powertrain has remained unchanged for the Ducati DesertX Rally. It has the same 937cc, L-Twin engineĀ whichĀ also powers the standard DesertX, and the brandĀ hasn'tĀ made any changes inĀ the state of tune. The unitĀ makesĀ 108 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 92Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm and comes paired with a six-speed gearbox.Ā 

The DesertX Rally off-roader comes equipped with plenty of electronics. It includesĀ 6Ā riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Enduro, Rally), 4 Power Modes onĀ 3Ā power levels, ABS Cornering Bosch adjustable onĀ 3Ā levels, Ducati Traction Control adjustable, Ducati Wheelie Control, engine brake control, cruise control, fullĀ LED lighting,Ā 5-inch colour TFT instrumentation panel with theĀ brand'sĀ Link App support and turn-by-turn navigation, Ducati Quick Shift Up & Down (DQS), and more.

The DesertX Rally gets an adjustable Ohlins steeringĀ damper,Ā fixed directly to the handlebar to enhance handling on off-road terrain. With the new suspension setup, the ground clearance of the DesertX Rally has increased by 30mm to 310mm from 280mm.Ā
