Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has officially launched the fifth-generation 2026 Ducati Monster in India, with prices starting at INR 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest naked streetfighter brings a comprehensive mechanical overhaul, featuring an updated chassis, revised ergonomics, and a lighter powertrain designed to improve daily usability and performance.

The new motorcycle arrives with a refreshed aesthetic layout that includes a redesigned fuel tank, new side panels, and dual exhausts. Ducati Monster Specifications and Features

The 2026 Ducati Monster is powered by a new 890cc V2 engine equipped with Intake Variable Timing, producing 109 BHP to 110 BHP at 9,000 rpm and 91.1 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring Ducati Quick Shift 2.0. The motorcycle is built around an aluminium monocoque chassis with the engine acting as a stressed member, paired with a double-sided swingarm, bringing the wet weight down to 175 kg without fuel.

Suspension duties are handled by a 43 mm Showa upside-down front fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking comprises twin 320 mm front discs and a 245 mm rear disc supported by cornering ABS. Ergonomics include a narrowed, 815 mm high seat and a repositioned handlebar.
