The Kawasaki Z300 is powered by a 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 40 bhp (39.4 bhp) at 11,000 rpm and 26.3 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm. The motor is paired with a six-speed transmission featuring an assist-and-slipper clutch alongside dual-throttle valve technology. Built around a steel tubular diamond frame, the bike is suspended by a 37mm telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock with preload adjustability. Braking duties are handled by a 290mm front petal disc and a 220mm rear petal disc with dual-channel ABS as standard.
The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with a 110/70-section front tyre and a 140/70-section rear tyre. Additional dimensions include a 17-litre fuel tank capacity, a kerb weight of 175 kg, and a ground clearance of 140mm.
