Oben Rorr Evo Deliveries Begin After 25,000 Bookings

Oben Electric has started customer deliveries of its Rorr Evo motorcycle in Bengaluru after securing 25,000 bookings. With a top speed of 110 kmph and a 180 km range, the company is leveraging its 150-showroom network and large production capacity to meet the high demand across India.

Oben Electric has officially commenced customer deliveries for its Rorr Evo electric motorcycle, starting with a phased rollout in Bengaluru. This milestone follows the company’s receipt of over 25,000 bookings within the first 15 days of the motorcycle's launch earlier this year.

As per a report by Economic Times, the manufacturer is now scaling up its logistics to fulfil these orders across its extensive retail network. With over 150 showrooms currently operational in 90 cities across 18 states, the company aims to expedite the distribution process to meet the strong initial demand. Yamaha YZF-R2 Sportbike Expected to Launch on August 27.

Production Capacity and Scaling

To support this rapid expansion, Oben Electric has ramped up operations at its production facility, which boasts an annual manufacturing capacity exceeding 100,000 motorcycles. Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, emphasised that the commencement of deliveries is a critical step in building customer trust and converting high interest into tangible market presence.

The manufacturer has established a vertically integrated ecosystem, allowing for greater control over the production cycle. This infrastructure is central to the company’s strategy to maintain consistent delivery schedules as it continues to expand its presence across the country.

Technical Specifications and Performance

The Rorr Evo is positioned as a high-performance electric motorcycle, featuring a 9 kW electric motor developed in-house by Oben Electric. In terms of performance, the motorcycle is capable of reaching a top speed of 110 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in approximately three seconds. Currently, the Rorr Evo is priced at 124,999 INR (ex-showroom), offering a competitive option in the growing Indian electric motorcycle segment.
