Royal Enfield will be revealing the India pricing for the much awaited Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 motorcycles that are popularly known as 650 Twins. The company will be launching the bikes in India at an event in Goa just before Rider Mania 2018. As the fact that Royal Enfield is already retailing the bikes in the global market, the only thing which is kept under wrap is the pricing for the domestic market. Finally, all the speculations related to the prices will come to rest today with the launch of the motorcycles. Going by the speculations, it is rumoured that Royal Enfield will be pricing the Interceptor motorcycle with a competitive price point. The India price for the RE Interceptor is expected to start from Rs 2.5 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It is also believed that the company will introduce the motorcycle in multiple variants as we have already seen for the US market. Alongside Interceptor 650, the Chennai based manufacturer will also be launching the Continental GT 650 which could be priced around Rs 2.7 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycle will come powered by an all-new 648cc oil and air-cooled parallel twin engine that will be tuned to make 47.6 PS of maximum power @ 7250rpm with 53Nm of peak torque @ 5250 rpm. Moreover, the Continental GT 650 will share the same powertrain and underpinning with the Interceptor 650. The bike features an 18-inch spoke wheels with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres. It also gets disc brake setup at the front and rear along with dual-channel ABS as standard.
