Banks in multiple cities across India will remain closed on Monday, September 14, on account of regional festivals including Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganesh Puja, Varasiddhi Vinayaka Vrata, Vinayakar Chathurthi, and Hartalika. According to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) official holiday calendar, physical branch operations and counter services - such as cash deposits and cheque clearances - will be unavailable in the designated regions under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
