Taking over from long-time anchor Anup Soni, Devgn officially confirmed his involvement via a post on X (formerly Twitter), teasing his role with the caption, "This time, I'll stay with you...".

The network released the first official promo featuring Devgn, who addresses viewers on the evolving nature of crime in modern society. In the video, the actor notes that a significant number of offences involve perpetrators known to the victim, urging citizens to remain alert without giving in to fear. Devgn's entry brings cinematic star power to the reality crime genre. Known for playing law-enforcement characters in film franchises such as Singham, Gangaajal, and Drishyam, his screen presence aligns with the show's focus on public awareness and vigilance.
