On the occasion of the Aamir Khan’s 53rd birthday today, LatestLY takes a look at  5 Top Brands which the actor has endorsed over the years.  From the iconic Coca Cola commercials, where he dons the character of a Bengali to dressing up as a woman in Godrej commercials, the actor has done justice to every role. However, he was in the midst of severe controversy and was dropped as the ambassador for Snapdeal brand for his comments on intolerance in the country.

As per reports, Aamir Khan charges between Rs 3-3.5 crore for an endorsement deal. Unlike the other Khans in the industry, , Aamir continues to be very selective, when it comes to promoting a brand.

Star Plus:

Aamir Khan's ad titled 'Nayi Soch' for Star Plus, released last year was widely appreciated for the fresh concept which the brand wanted to promote.  The intention was to highlight the progressive thinking in society, especially regarding the role of women. 

Snapdeal:

Snapdeal had roped in Aamir Khan in 2015 for a big budget advertising campaigns. As per reports, the endorsement fee of Khan was in the range of Rs 15-20 crore. However, the contract with the actor was not renewed and he was dropped on account of Aamir's controversial comments on perceived intolerance in the country that evoked criticism from many quarters.

Tata Sky:

Aamir Khan was one of the most popular Bollywood actors who endorsed Tata Sky and helped the brand to grab eyeballs and create brand recall. 

Godrej:

The actor donned a female role for Godrej's 'Zindagi Muskuraye commercials. Along with TV and other mediums, the campaign created great noise on social media as well.

Coca Cola:

The actor has enacted some of the best memorable roles for Coca Cola commercials, be it a Bengali Babu, Nepali trekker or a Punjabi Jatt.

According to recent reports, Indian Premier League (IPL) title sponsor VIVO has roped in Aamir Khan as the brand’s new face and they will be aggressively promoting this association with the actor through different marketing campaigns. Ranveer Singh, the current endorser of the brand is likely to end his association with Vivo, after 20-months.
